Do not over-inflate tires. Do not exceed 2 psi (103 mm HG as indicated on the gauge) per tire. Inflating tires past 2 psi will create an explosion hazard, during inflation and/or use, which can cause physical harm to humans, animals and/or damage to property. This system is designed to be used with ambient air ONLY, it is not designed to be used with nitrogen, argon, helium, or any other gas or combination of gases. This device is designed to be used for its intended purpose only.

 

SpotOnPsi is a professional grade precision RC Tire Air Pressure System that takes the guesswork out of applying just the right amount of air pressure to your RC drag racing slicks. Kit includes an easy to use hand pump with a extremely high quality, easy to read oversized gauge, crack & crimp resistant genuine silicone tubing, valve needle, and two low profile rubber valves. Handy carrying case is included.

 

Needed to complete installation:

 

***IMPORTANT: YOU MUST RE-BALANCE THE TIRES AFTER INSTALLATION, FAILURE TO DO SO WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE TIRES, WHEELS, AS WELL AS CAR PARTS AND COMPONENTS.

 

1)  High quality rubberized CA glue. We recommend Bob Smith Industries BSI-118 IC-2000 Rubber Toughened CA Glue.

2)  Drill and 1/4" drill bit.

3)  Deburring files to smooth the 1/4" hole.

4)  Acetone to clean the rubber valves and wheel before installation. 

 

Directions:

Clean rubber valves with acetone and set aside to dry.  Drill 1/4" hole in the wheel.  Deburr and smooth wheel surface using deburring files.  Clean deburred hole and surrounding area with acetone, allow to completely dry.  Apply rubberized CA glue to the area in and around the 1/4" hole.  Apply rubberized CA glue to the collar of the rubber valve.  Carefully slide the rubber valve up and thru the hole from the inner radius of the wheel and hold mild pressure until the glue sets.  Allow the glue to set undisturbed to 24hrs.  Apply additional rubberized ca glue to fill any gaps around the valve collar and allow the glue to set for an additional 24hrs.  Mount the tire to the wheel using enough glue to make an airtight seal. Allow the glue to set undisturbed for 24hrs.  Re-balance tires before use.
